Dynasty Trade Lab (“DTL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Dynasty Trade Lab website and application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). You may also provide a username or profile display name.
Payment Information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. We retain only non-sensitive billing details such as your subscription tier, billing period, and last-four card digits as provided by the payment processor.
Fantasy Platform Data. To power trade analysis and valuations, we may access data from your connected fantasy platforms (e.g., Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo Fantasy) via OAuth authorization or API integration. This data may include your league settings, rosters, trade history, and player ownership. We access only what is necessary to provide the Service and do not read or store any personal communications or unrelated account data from those platforms.
Usage and Analytics Data. We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, features used, and session timestamps. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (described further below) to collect this data.
2. How We Use Your Information

- Provide, personalize, and improve the Service, including generating trade grades, player valuations, and dynasty rankings
- Process payments and manage your subscription
- Send you transactional emails (e.g., receipts, password resets, and account notices)
- Send product updates and marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time
- Monitor for fraud, abuse, and security threats

- Comply with applicable legal obligations
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and collect analytics data. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit certain features of the Service. We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers or data brokers. We may share your data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers. We work with vendors who help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, email delivery). These vendors process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.
- Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of DTL, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities

You may disconnect linked fantasy platform accounts at any time from your account settings. Upon disconnection, we will stop syncing new data from that platform.
9. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete your personal information; and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, please contact us using the information below.
10. European Residents (GDPR)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-app notification or email).
